What Is Explorations in Neuroscience: Neurons?
UChicago’s official page describes Explorations in Neuroscience as a 2026 Immersion course for students in grades 9–11 who had completed a year of high-school biology. Students studied nervous systems through primary data and experimental methods. The residential session cost $9,300 and required academic records, essays, a recommendation, a writing sample and parent confirmation, with need-based aid requested during application. The course is full and that round is closed; the home page says 2027 programmes will be announced before December applications.
Previously published 2026 terms also listed a $6,100 commuter option, $1,000 deposit and conditional aid. These historical options do not establish a 2027 course, session or financial package.
