What Is Berkeley Math Tournament?
The Berkeley Math Tournament Group is a student organization independent of the University of California. It offers advanced pre-college mathematics competition for grade 12 or below, including younger and international students. Teams have one to six students, with four to six preferred for team rounds. Each student may choose only one 2026 version.
In-person BMT is November 14 at UC Berkeley, with Power, Individual and Guts rounds. Registration opened September 14 at 9 a.m. Pacific. Regular registration ends October 18 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific; late entry then runs through November 1, with no final cutoff clock stated. In-person organizations need one adult chaperone per two teams and must complete consent and waiver steps.
