What Is Week of Hope?
Week of Hope is Group Mission Trips' six-day, in-person Christian community-service camp for youth groups. Participants serve established local nonprofits and ministries through projects such as food-kitchen work, tutoring, senior support, yard work, light home repair, day camps, and community-center service. No special service skills are required. The experience includes morning and evening Bible-based programs, worship, crew and youth-group devotions, shared meals, hospitality duties, and recreation.
Current 2027 trips are listed in Charleston, Cincinnati, Loveland, Nashville, Springfield, and Wheaton in Sunday-Friday blocks between June 20 and August 6, depending on location. The listed price is $424 per person and trips fill first-come, first-served. The fee includes camp lodging, all meals except Tuesday dinner, project organization and materials, staff, program content, and preparation resources. Groups pay for transportation to the location and daily project sites and bring bedding, personal gear, coolers and water jugs, and any requested small tools.
