What Is Honda Campus All-Star Challenge?
Honda Campus All-Star Challenge is an active academic quiz competition for undergraduate students at participating four-year, degree-granting Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the continental United States. The legacy grades 9-12 eligibility is incorrect. Players must be full-time undergraduates registered at the participating university, must not already hold an undergraduate or bachelor's degree, and must remain registered for the term of the National Championship Tournament. A player may attend/play at most four NCTs.
An HBCU president or chancellor first enrolls the institution and names a campus coordinator. Students then enter through their campus, typically completing Power Search quizzes and joining an HCASC Club or playing in a campus tournament. Part 1 institutional qualification requires either a club of at least 12 students or a tournament with at least eight teams and 24 players, plus participation lists and scoresheets. A final NCT roster has four players and a faculty/staff coach; three players compete in each match.
