What Is Illinois Tech Elevate College Prep Summer?
Illinois Tech's Elevate College Prep offers distinct STEM and related summer courses for school students. The official catalog currently describes 2026 virtual, daytime and overnight options, including coding, robotics, chemistry, architecture and engineering. High-school daytime courses ran one to four weeks; virtual courses ran one week and overnight courses one or two weeks. Some programs used the Rice Campus in Wheaton rather than Chicago.
The 2026 high-school offerings served rising freshmen through seniors, generally ages 14–17. Residential housing has an age wording conflict that families should confirm. Program fees and prerequisites differed by course. The 2026 application pages also disagree between May 8 and May 15. Future dates, fees and application details have not been published; use the official catalog for the next cycle.
