What Is Molecular Medicine in Action?
Molecular Medicine in Action is a free, two-day IU School of Medicine programme for Indiana high-school students in grades 10-12. The 2027 session is scheduled for March 7-8 in Indianapolis. Students must attend both days.
Participants join research workstations and discussions with IU scientists at the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research. The programme includes a March 7 overnight stay at the Westin Indianapolis and a chaperoned transfer to the research centre the next day. The 2027 application states that programme costs and meals/snacks are covered by IU School of Medicine and Riley Children's Foundation; students are assigned a roommate of the same gender.
