What Is Smith College Summer Science and Engineering?
Smith's Summer Science and Engineering Program offers one or two two-week STEM sessions with faculty-led courses. Dates for 2027 are July 3-16 and July 18-31. General eligibility is entering grades 9-12, with some courses requiring grade 10 or above; college credit is not awarded. The 2026 tuition was $4,985 per session or $9,970 for both. Current rates are pending, so this is not a free programme. Applications open December 10, 2026 with separate priority, international and aid deadlines. Domestic entry closes May 1 at 11:59 PM ET or capacity. Transcript, recommendation, statement and essay are required. Confirm current gender admission rules, prerequisites and financial terms.
