What Is UNCSA Drama Summer Intensive?
UNCSA's three-week Drama College Prep Conservatory gives high-school actors age 15-18 intensive stage, film, and television training with School of Drama faculty and guest artists. Students audition for Acting or Musical Theatre. Acting covers monologue work, text/scene analysis, voice, mask and movement, and on-camera technique; Musical Theatre adds private singing, ensemble, and musical-theatre/jazz dance. Both tracks end in a showcase, and enrollment was limited to 75 for individualized attention.
The June 21-July 11, 2026 session is complete and both tracks reached a waiting list. Published 2026 totals were USD 4,116 residential or USD 2,483 commuter, including a USD 50 application fee; UNCSA offered no internal scholarship aid. The audition-material deadline was April 15 and the application date May 1.
