# MultiCare M.A.S.H. Camp The MultiCare Academy for Students in Healthcare (M.A.S.H.) Camp - which grew out of MultiCare's long-running Nurse Camp in Tacoma - is a free summer experience that puts Washington high school students inside working hospitals to explore healthcare careers. Camps run each summer across MultiCare's regions, including the Puget Sound, Spokane, and Yakima, with 2026 sessions held June 23-26 in Yakima and July 28-31 in downtown Spokane. ## What You'll Do - Rotate through hands-on skill stations and hospital departments at a MultiCare campus - Watch and take part in demonstrations across clinical areas such as emergency, intensive care, labor and delivery, and pediatrics - Meet nurses, therapists, technologists, and other professionals across the health careers spectrum - Take home new skills, scrubs, and a clearer picture of your healthcare path - at no cost ## Who Should Apply Current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in Washington with an interest in health professions - nursing, physical or occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, social work, pharmacy, audiology, ultrasound, lab, X-ray tech, or healthcare operations. The camp is free to all students. Applications for summer 2026 closed in spring; the next cycle typically reopens in early spring. ## Outcomes Campers finish with certifiable exposure to dozens of health careers, connections at one of Washington's largest health systems, and an experience MultiCare notes is 'an excellent addition to college and employment applications.'
