What Is SWENext?
SWENext is the Society of Women Engineers' free pre-college community for students ages 5-18. SWE focuses the programme on girls' participation in engineering and technology, but membership and events are open to all genders. Enrollment is open without an academic screening process or annual application deadline; students younger than 13 register with a parent or legal guardian as the primary email contact.
Membership gives students access to engineering-career guides and digital workbooks, free STEM comics and activities, newsletters, events, hands-on engagement challenges, mentoring sessions and connections with peers, SWE members, role models and industry experts. Members may join or create a local SWENext Club, pursue the Influencer leadership track, apply to the separate High School Leadership Academy when its annual window opens, or enter SWENext awards when eligible. These optional opportunities have their own rules and deadlines and are not automatic benefits of signup.
