What Is Student Introduction to Engineering (SITE)?
SITE is a six-day, five-night residential introduction to engineering and computing at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The 2027 page addresses rising sophomores, juniors, seniors and incoming freshmen without specifying the freshman stage. Confirm the eligible grade route. Participants explore engineering disciplines through faculty-led laboratory and classroom activities, industry tours and speakers, college-preparation seminars, campus experiences, and a mentored team design challenge that ends in a presentation to peers, faculty, and families.
