What Is USC Summer Programs?
USC Summer Programs offers domestic and international high-school students four-week, in-person college-level courses on the Los Angeles campus. Students choose from more than 20 subjects and learn through lectures, laboratories, workshops, academic field trips, and guest speakers. Successful completion earns three units of USC elective credit, but participation does not guarantee undergraduate admission and transfer or high-school acceptance of the credit should be confirmed.
The completed 2026 program accepted students who had finished at least grade 9. Domestic applications closed May 8 and international applications March 13. Estimated domestic totals were $8,130 commuter and $11,570 residential, plus an $85 application fee; international residents faced additional USC and government visa costs. USC offered no financial aid or payment plan.
